P90x cookies! 2ripe bananas,1cup oats,dark choc chips,heaping spoon natural PB..mix,bake @350 for 15-20 min I love these!!!

my first week i have done really well eating super clean! heading into day 8 my sweet tooth was starting to kick in so i whipped these up and they are perfect when craving something sweet but HELL NO im not eating junk.

Oh wow why did i not try these sooner!!! Kale chips…thats where its at guys

Sea Salt

Olive Oil

Cut Kale into chip seized pieces..toss with some olive oil in bowl..lay out on sheet with parchment paper (lightly salt …very sparingly because these little babies are delicate once baked and they wont need much!) Bake @300 for 15-20 min or until crispy.

Next time i go to the movies i am SO making a big batch of these to bring..its the same satisfying salty crunch as popcorn!

Dinner was Kale and Avocado salad with sprouts…roasted carrots and sweet potato..and sauteed red cabbage. I am doing 5 days of a mix of juicing during the day then some cooked veggies at night…then the remaining 10 days will be juicing only. This Kale salad was so good and the dressing was super delish. i will never buy dressing again now that I’ve made it.

Sorry for the blur but SO GOOD. Coconut frozen yogurt with fresh berries was my snack today. I could have eaten SO much more of this!!!  Im sorry, but this always feels like a naughty food to me its so yummy!

I really love summer time

My evening snacky snack..Natural  PB with Dark Chocolate Chips. This gets rid of my sweet tooth cravings every time GET IN MY MOUTH

Oh man i’m in trouble..

Just discovered an all natural Burrito shop 5 min from my house and they use whole grain tortillas eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it was so stinking good  it had fresh veggies and the most flavorful chicken and it was SO cheap i think i will want one for breakfast too oh i love food

SO excited a new farmers/produce market just opened up near my house. I already have two in town that i frequent but this one is AMAZING. They have more unique things like this DragonFruit..i am so excited because i have only had the flavor, not the fresh fruit before. Here’s to eating fresh!! xoxo

Dont you DARE feel guilty! This needs to be said. Again.

  • Ok so we have all been here. We eat healthy all week..feeling pretty good and then BAM…we have a day that makes us feel completely guilty, because we ate some Chinese food, or have pop tarts for breakfast..or had a slice of cake, or sat down with a bag of chips. Pick your poison. I used to beat myself up when i would occasionally eat something totally unhealthy. UNTIL i read a blog that changed my mind on this.
  • This is basic truth: Lets pretend your diet consists of 80% fast food. McDonalds, Taco Bell and everything else horrible. 3 meals a day. You would probably be over weight, and very unhealthy. Now lets pretend you throw in a plate of veggies or a healthy protein source, just for nutrients sake here and there…would you now be considered healthy because you ate that one healthy meal?  Nope.
  • SO ….If 80% of the time you do the right thing and eat healthy, whole foods..lean proteins..good grains…but every once in a while you have a Big Mac or nosh on some M&M’S… Is it going to effect your body in a bad way? NO. Are you going to “ruin” your progress? NOPE. That treat you just had does not define your health. Just dont make it a daily habit. You have to look at the bigger picture of your eating habits. Everything in moderation. But STOP feeling guilty about enjoying something “naughty” every once in a while. You gotta live your life. Eat that bowl of Ice Cream and get on with it.                                    x0x0x0 -train-eat-sleep

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Ok Ya’ll..another Recipe for you!!! Now seriously….this is THE most amazing Pork tenderloin i have ever put in my mouth!!! And don’t be afraid of pork guys…it tends to get a bed reputation because of bacon and such..but pork tenderloin is “the other white meat”. It  qualify’s as a great source lean protein, it has a low fat count and fat burning properties, loaded with B6, So eat up! This recipe makes it crazy tender and juicy and SO scrump!

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

1⁄2 cups olive oil
1⁄3 cup soy sauce
1⁄4 cup red wine vinegar
Juice of 1 lemon
1-2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1-2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
2 tsp dry mustard
Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1  pork tenderloin (1-2 lbs..or 2 smaller ones)

Now..this is really really simple. Combine everything for the marinade and make sure its mixed up well.  Throw your entire pork tenderloin into a freezer bag (or bowl that you can cover tightly.) Throw in the marinade on top. I prepare mine the night before and let it just soak all night and day until i am ready to cook. But if you cant do that.. preparing it 2-3 hours before will be just fine. When you are ready to bake, take a deep baking dish..(you might want to line with foil for easy clean up)  and place everything in the dish..pork and ALL of the marinade. As it bakes you will want to take a spoon and baste the the meat with the juices a few times. Bake @ 350 for aprox 30-40 min..until the center has no pink. Slice up and pour the juices over the sliced up pork and serve. OMG so good! Try it you wont be sorry!
