I eat around 800-1200 calories a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. I eat healthy, like fruits, fish, salad, water, and everything that. You know? haha. I also eat chicken, and meat and stuff. I know I wont lose much weight on two weeks, but when I notice how some people lose 1-3 pounds a week, It makes me feel like I'm failing :C
You are not failing at all! :) It just takes awhile sometimes to know exactly what your body responds to and what it needs. And some weeks you will notice you lose nothing..while others you will drop 2 or 3. It will flux, thats normal. But I feel i can safely say, you may not be consuming enough calories :( I know this seems like a contradiction since you want to LOSE weight. But women should be consuming at the very LEAST 1200 a day. Everyone’s a little different but the norm is 1200-2000 daily depending on your starting weight and height. If you are consuming 1000 or under… your body thinks there is a famine and has slowed your metabolism in order to conserve calories. Its your body’s way of protecting itself for survival purposes, and it will hold onto any fat stores you have, not allowing you to lose weight. The important part is to up your calorie intake with healthy choices, and it sounds like you have a handle on your food choices :) trust the process, it works. For example: for me.. my calorie intake has to be a minimum or 1300 and i can go as high as 1800. i alternate: one low day…one high day. I find it keeps my metabolism humming and i am able to eat very well, and continue to lose weight. My body knows it can expect enough nutrients each day and doesn’t go into stress mode and hold onto fat, but instead burns more calories. I actually feel like i am eating more now then i have ever before, and have lost over 20 lbs in the process….use this website
